ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ, 28 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ (ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਹੈਰੀ): ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦਾ ਗੁਣਗਾਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਥੱਕਦੀ, ਉੱਥੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਮਾਜਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਟੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਥਾਂ-ਥਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਕੂੜੇ ਦੇ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠਦੀ ਬਦਬੂ, ਮੱਖੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਮੱਛਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਹਰਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਅੱਜ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਡ ਨੰਬਰ 9 ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਮੰਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੜਕ ‘ਤੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਇੱਕ ਏਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਕੂੜੇ ਦੇ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਐਲਾਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ 566ਵੇਂ ਨੰਬਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੂੰ 3 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ: ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਨ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾੜੀ ਹੈ।
ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲੁੱਟਾਂ-ਖੋਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹੱਥ ‘ਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਧਰ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੀ ਹੈ।
ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਮੰਗਣਗੇ।

राजपुरा, 28 अप्रैल (हिमांशु हैरी): राजपुरा हलके के मौजूदा MLA जहां शहर में हुए डेवलपमेंट की तारीफ करते नहीं थकते, वहीं दूसरी तरफ हालात कुछ और ही हैं। शहर की सड़कें टूटी हुई हैं और शहर में जगह-जगह लगे कूड़े के ढेर और उनसे निकलने वाली बदबू, मक्खियों और मच्छरों से शहरवासी बेहद परेशान हैं। इसी सिलसिले में आज पूर्व MLA हरदयाल सिंह कंबोज लोकल म्युनिसिपल काउंसिल के वार्ड नंबर 9 में नई अनाज मंडी को जाने वाली सड़क पर करीब एक एकड़ एरिया में फैले कूड़े के ढेरों पर पहुंचे। बातचीत के दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि जब केंद्र में BJP सरकार थी, तब पंजाब में पिछली कांग्रेस सरकार के समय राजपुरा शहर को नॉर्थ इंडिया का सबसे खूबसूरत शहर घोषित किया गया था। उस समय म्युनिसिपल काउंसिल के प्रेसिडेंट नरेंद्र शास्त्री भारत के प्रेसिडेंट से अवॉर्ड लेकर आए थे। लेकिन मौजूदा MLA के कार्यकाल के बारे में बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें यह कहते हुए शर्म आ रही है कि शहर नंबर एक से 566 नंबर पर पहुंच गया है और सरकार ने राजपुरा म्युनिसिपल काउंसिल पर 3 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि: शहर में कानून-व्यवस्था की हालत बहुत खराब है।
रोज़ाना लूटपाट और चोरियां हो रही हैं, जबकि पुलिस हाथ पर हाथ धरे बैठी है।
आने वाले म्युनिसिपल काउंसिल चुनावों में लोग मौजूदा MLA से इन सब हालातों का जवाब मांगेंगे।
इस मौके पर उनके साथ गुरप्रीत सिंह जंडोली, प्रमोद बब्बर, रणबीर सिंह भंगू, मलकीत सिंह उपलहेड़ी, गुरिंदर सिंह गुरी, जगविंदर कुमार जग्गा कोटला और दूसरे नेता मौजूद थे।

But talking about the tenure of the current MLA, he said that he is ashamed to say that the city has reached number 566 from number one and the government has also imposed a fine of Rs 3 lakh on the Rajpura Municipal Council.
He further said that: The law and order situation in the city is very bad.
Robberies and thefts are happening daily, while the police is sitting idly by.
In the upcoming Municipal Council elections, people will ask the current MLA to answer all these situations.
