राजपुरा/शंभू, 01 मार्च (हिमांशु हैरी): पटियाला जिले के सीनियर सुपरिटेंडेंट ऑफ पुलिस की देखरेख में पुलिस ने असामाजिक तत्वों और अपराधियों के खिलाफ चलाए गए खास ऑपरेशन में बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। बिजली के तार चोर गैंग के चार सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। यह जानकारी देते हुए डिप्टी सुपरिटेंडेंट ऑफ पुलिस (सर्किल घनौर) ने बताया कि गांव मोही खुर्द के रहने वाले गुरचैन सिंह बेटे जापान सिंह ने शंभू थाने में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी कि पिछले कुछ दिनों से उनके खेतों से हाई-वोल्टेज बिजली के तार, मोटर के तार और ट्रांसफार्मर के पार्ट्स बार-बार चोरी हो रहे थे। आस-पास के गांवों में भी ऐसी ही घटनाएं सामने आई हैं, जिससे गांव वाले अपने खेतों और गांवों में सतर्क रहने को मजबूर हैं। 24 फरवरी, 2026 को रात 10 से 10:15 बजे के बीच गांववालों की मदद से तार चोरी करने वाले गैंग के चार सदस्य पकड़े गए: मोहम्मद नजीर, नकम, नासिर, इकराम का बेटा, गांव आदमपुर, थाना आदमपुर, जिला अमरोहा (उत्तर प्रदेश) का रहने वाला है, जो फिलहाल गांव छत, थाना जीरकपुर, जिला मोहाली में रहता है; मोबीन, जमील का बेटा, जो मुजफ्फरपुर, थाना सिविल लाइंस, मुरादाबाद, जिला मुरादाबाद (उत्तर प्रदेश) का रहने वाला है, जो फिलहाल गांव छत, थाना जीरकपुर, जिला मोहाली में रहता है; नाजिम अली, इकराम का बेटा, जो आदमपुर, जिला अमरोहा (उत्तर प्रदेश) का रहने वाला है, जो फिलहाल गांव छत, थाना जीरकपुर, जिला मोहाली में रहता है; और सुलेमान, गुलफान का बेटा, जो आदमपुर, जिला अमरोहा (उत्तर प्रदेश) का रहने वाला है, जो फिलहाल गांव छत, थाना जीरकपुर, जिला मोहाली में रहता है। इंचार्ज संजीव नाकम ने बताया कि झगड़े के बाद संजू का एक साथी अपनी महिंद्रा बोलेरो गाड़ी में भाग गया। इस संबंध में शंभू पुलिस स्टेशन में केस नंबर 36/26 दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। गिरफ्तार आरोपियों से पूछताछ की जा रही है और पुलिस उन्हें ढूंढने के लिए छापेमारी कर रही है।

On February 24, 2026, between 10 and 10:15 pm, four members of a wire theft gang were caught with the help of villagers: Mohammad Nazir Nakam Nasir, son of Ikram, resident of village Adampur, police station Adampur, district Amroha (Uttar Pradesh), currently residing in village Chhat, police station Zirakpur, district Mohali; Mobin, son of Jamil, resident of Muzaffarpur, police station Civil Lines, Moradabad, district Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), currently residing in village Chhat, police station Zirakpur, district Mohali; Nazim Ali, son of Ikram, resident of Adampur, district Amroha (Uttar Pradesh), currently residing in village Chhat, police station Zirakpur, district Mohali; and Suleman, son of Gulfan, resident of Adampur, district Amroha (Uttar Pradesh), who currently resides in village Chhat, police station Zirakpur, district Mohali. In-charge Sanjeev Nakam An associate of Sanju fled in his Mahindra Bolero vehicle after the altercation. In this regard, case number 36/26 has been registered at Shambhu police station and investigation has been started. The arrested accused are being questioned, and the police are conducting raids to trace them.
