ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ/ਬਨੂੰੜ,17 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ (ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਹੈਰੀ):ਪੇਂਡੂ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਤੇ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ, ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤਰੁਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੌਂਦ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਨਰੋਏ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਣ। ਸ. ਸੌਂਦ ਅੱਜ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨੋਲੋਜੀ, ਬਨੂੜ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਸਪੋਨਟੈਨਿਆ – 2026 ਦੇ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਸੌਂਦ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਹੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਗਰਗ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਉੱਤਮ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੌਂਦ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਕੌਸ਼ਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ’ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਗਰਗ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਗਭਗ 6000 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰੀਬ 500 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਰੰਗਾਰੰਗ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਐਸ ਡੀ ਐਮ ਨਮਨ ਮਰਕਨ, ਡੀ ਐੱਸ ਪੀ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਨਾਇਬ ਤਹਿਸੀਲਦਾਰ ਹਰਿੰਦਰ ਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਗਰਗ, ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਗਰਗ, ਸਾਹਿਲ ਗਰਗ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਗਰਗ, ਅੰਕੁਰ ਗਰਗ, ਡਾ ਐਸ ਕੇ ਸੋਨੀ, ਸੰਜੀਵ ਸੈਣੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
राजपुरा/बनूर, 17 अप्रैल (हिमांशु हैरी): ग्रामीण विकास और पंचायत, टूरिज्म और कल्चरल मामलों के मंत्री तरुणप्रीत सिंह सौंद ने युवाओं से नशे से दूर रहने और एक हेल्दी समाज बनाने के लिए आगे आने को कहा है। एस. सौंद आज स्वामी विवेकानंद इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी, बनूर में आयोजित स्पोंटेनिया-2026 के सालाना फंक्शन में चीफ गेस्ट के तौर पर शामिल हो रहे थे। इस मौके पर उन्होंने स्टूडेंट्स, टीचर्स और एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर्स को संबोधित किया और इंस्टीट्यूशन की कोशिशों की खूब तारीफ की।इस बीच, कैबिनेट मंत्री एस. सौंद ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के नेतृत्व वाली पंजाब सरकार राज्य के विकास के लिए पूरी तरह से तैयार है। उन्होंने कहा कि युवा देश का भविष्य हैं और उन्हें सही दिशा में मोटिवेट करना समाज की मिली-जुली जिम्मेदारी है।उन्होंने इंस्टीट्यूशन की पूरी टीम और खासकर गर्ग परिवार की तारीफ की। मंत्री ने कहा कि इंस्टीट्यूशन द्वारा आयोजित कल्चरल प्रोग्राम बहुत ही शानदार और असरदार थे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस इंस्टीट्यूशन के स्टूडेंट्स बड़े-बड़े पदों पर पहुंचकर देश-विदेश में अपना नाम रोशन कर रहे हैं, जो इंस्टीट्यूशन के लिए गर्व की बात है। इस दौरान मंत्री सौंद ने स्टूडेंट्स से ड्रग्स से दूर रहने की अपील की और कहा कि ड्रग्स युवाओं को बर्बाद करते हैं और विकास की राह में सबसे बड़ी रुकावट हैं। उन्होंने युवाओं को शिक्षा, स्किल्स और डिसिप्लिन पर ध्यान देने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इस दौरान इंस्टीट्यूट के चेयरमैन अश्वनी गर्ग ने कहा कि इस समय इंस्टीट्यूट में करीब 6000 स्टूडेंट्स पढ़ रहे हैं, जिनमें से करीब 500 स्टूडेंट्स विदेश से हैं। इस दौरान स्टूडेंट्स ने रंगारंग कल्चरल परफॉर्मेंस दी। इस मौके पर राजपुरा SDM नमन मार्कन, DSP मंजीत सिंह, नायब तहसीलदार हरिंदर जीत सिंह, इंस्टीट्यूट के चेयरमैन अश्वनी गर्ग, अशोक गर्ग, साहिल गर्ग, विशाल गर्ग, अंकुर गर्ग, डॉ. एसके सोनी, संजीव सैनी समेत स्टूडेंट्स और टीचर्स मौजूद थे।

S. Saund was attending the annual function of Spontania – 2026 organized at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Engineering and Technology, Banur today as the chief guest. On this occasion, he addressed the students, teachers and administrators and highly appreciated the efforts of the institution. Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister S. Saund said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to the development of the state. He said that the youth are the future of the country and it is the joint responsibility of the society to motivate them in the right direction. He appreciated the entire team of the institution and especially the Garg family. The Minister said that the cultural programs organized by the institution were very excellent and effective. He said that the students of this institute are making their name bright in the country and abroad by reaching big positions, which is a matter of pride for the institute. Meanwhile, Minister Saund appealed to the students to stay away from drugs and said that drugs destroy youth and are the biggest obstacle in the path of development. He inspired the youth to focus on education, skills and discipline. Meanwhile, the chairman of the institute, Ashwani Garg, said that at present about 6000 students are studying in the institute, out of which about 500 students are from abroad. During this, the students gave a colorful cultural performance.
