ਪਟਿਆਲਾ,07 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ(ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਹੈਰੀ):ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਫੇਜ ਤਹਿਤ 53 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਬਲਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੇ ਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ. ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ, 53 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਬਲਾਕ ਤੇ ਲੜਕੇ ਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਉਤਮਤਾ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੇਂ ਯੁੱਗ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨਵਾਂ ਆਕਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਸਦਕਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਰਪਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹੱਲਾਸ਼ੇਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ। ਡਾ. ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਅਮਲੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪਲ ਦੇ ਗਵਾਹ ਬਣੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਐਥਲੀਟ ਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਖੇਡ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ, ਖੇਡ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਰਵਾਜੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਡਾ. ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 92 ਏਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲੀ ਇਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਖੇਡ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਬਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਜਮੀਨੀ ਤਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਹੈਬ ਸੈਂਟਰ, ਫਿਜਿਉਥ੍ਰੈਪੀ ਕਮਰਾ, ਜਿਮ, ਹੌਟ ਐਂਡ ਕੋਲਡ ਥਰੈਪੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਲ ਉਤੇ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਥੀਏਟਰ, ਕਲਾਸਰੂਮ, ਨਿਊਟ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਇਕੋਲੋਜੀ ਲੈਬ, ਫਿਜਿਉਥਰੈਪੀ ਲੈਬ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਦੂਜੀ ਮੰਜਿਲ ਉਤੇ ਐਂਥਰੋਪੋਮੀਟਰੀ ਲੈਬ, ਸਾਇਕਲੋਜੀ ਲੈਬ ਤੇ ਕਲਾਸਰੂਮ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਤੀਜੀ ਮੰਜਿਲ ਉਤੇ ਕਲਾਸ ਰੂਮ, ਐਨਾਟਮੀ ਲੈਬ, ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਮਨ ਰੂਮ। ਚੌਥੀ ਮੰਜਲ ਉਤੇ ਕਲਾਸ ਰੂਮ, ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ, ਪ੍ਰੌਫੈਸਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਮਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਮੰਜਿਲ ਉਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਰੂਮ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਬਲਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਲਿਫਟਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਬਲਾਕ ਕੁਲ ਕੁਲ ਕਵਰਡ ਏਰੀਆ 94523 ਵਰਗ ਫੁੱਟ ਹੈ। ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਬੁਆਏਜ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਲਜ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਦੀਆਂ 4-4 ਮੰਜਲਾਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 20-20 ਕਮਰੇ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ 100 ਕਮਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਸ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਿੱਚ 300 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤਿਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।ਇਥੇ ਦੋ ਲਿਫਟਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕਮਰਾ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੈ ਡਾਇਨਿੰਗ ਹਾਲ ਤੇ ਕਿਚਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਦੋ ਲਿਫਟਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਬਲਾਕ ਦਾ ਕੁਲ ਕਵਰਡ ਏਰੀਆ 97135 ਵਰਗ ਫੁੱਟ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮੰਜਿਲ ਉਤੇ 20 ਕਮਰੇ, ਰੀਕ੍ਰੀਏਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਲ, ਟੇਬਲ ਟੈਨਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਲੀਅਰਡਜ ਰੂਮ ਤੇ ਰੀਡਿੰਗ ਰੂਮ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੰਜਿਲਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮੰਜਿਲ 20-20 ਕਮਰੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

पटियाला, 07 अप्रैल (हिमांशु हैरी): पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान ने महाराजा भूपिंदर सिंह पंजाब स्पोर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी, पटियाला में पहले फेज़ के तहत 53 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से एकेडमिक ब्लॉक और लड़के-लड़कियों के हॉस्टल का उद्घाटन किया, जो पंजाब के खेलों के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक मील का पत्थर साबित हुआ है। यह बात स्पोर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी के वाइस चांसलर डॉ. पुष्पिंदर सिंह गिल ने बताई। उन्होंने कहा कि रिकॉर्ड समय में 53 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से एकेडमिक ब्लॉक और लड़के-लड़कियों के हॉस्टल के बनने से खेलों में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन और पढ़ाई-लिखाई में एक नए युग की शुरुआत हुई है, जिसे स्पोर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी एक नया रूप देगी। वाइस चांसलर ने कहा कि सेहत मंत्री डॉ. बलबीर सिंह की कोशिशों से पटियाला ग्रामीण हलके के विकास कामों के लोकार्पण के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान ने न सिर्फ यूनिवर्सिटी एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर्स को बधाई दी, बल्कि हमारे स्टूडेंट्स की भी हिम्मत बढ़ाई, जिससे हमारी यूनिवर्सिटी का गौरव बढ़ा है। डॉ. गिल ने कहा कि इस समारोह में यूनिवर्सिटी के एकेडमिक स्टाफ समेत बड़ी संख्या में स्टूडेंट्स ने हिस्सा लिया और इस ऐतिहासिक पल के गवाह बने। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के ऐलान के मुताबिक इस स्पोर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी ने स्पोर्ट्स चैंपियन एथलीट और स्पोर्ट्स ग्रेजुएट तैयार करने के साथ-साथ स्पोर्ट्स साइंस, स्पोर्ट्स कल्चर और स्कॉलरशिप के लिए अपने दरवाजे खोल दिए हैं। डॉ. पुष्पिंदर सिंह गिल ने आगे कहा कि 92 एकड़ में फैली इस पंजाब स्पोर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी में पब्लिक वर्क्स डिपार्टमेंट की तरफ से तैयार एकेडमिक ब्लॉक के ग्राउंड फ्लोर पर रिहैब सेंटर, फिजियोथेरेपी रूम, जिम, हॉट एंड कोल्ड थेरेपी की सुविधा है। पहली मंजिल पर लेक्चर थिएटर, क्लासरूम, न्यूट्रिशन साइकोलॉजी लैब, फिजियोथेरेपी लैब बनाई गई है। दूसरी मंजिल पर एंथ्रोपोमेट्री लैब, साइकोलॉजी लैब और क्लासरूम बनाए गए हैं। तीसरी मंजिल पर क्लासरूम, एनाटॉमी लैब, लड़कियों का कॉमन रूम है। चौथी मंजिल पर क्लासरूम, लाइब्रेरी, प्रोफेसरों का रूम और पांचवीं मंजिल पर कंप्यूटर रूम बनाया गया है। इस ब्लॉक में दो लिफ्ट लगाई गई हैं। एकेडमिक ब्लॉक का कुल कवर्ड एरिया 94523 स्क्वायर फीट है। वाइस चांसलर ने आगे बताया कि लड़कों और लड़कियों के हॉस्टल की 4-4 मंजिलें बनाई गई हैं और 20-20 कमरे बनाए गए हैं। इस तरह, इस 100 कमरों वाले हॉस्टल में 300 स्टूडेंट्स को मॉडर्न सुविधाओं के साथ रहने की जगह मिलेगी। यहां दो लिफ्ट लगाई गई हैं। हर कमरा तीन स्टूडेंट्स के रहने के लिए तैयार किया गया है और यहां डाइनिंग हॉल और किचन की सुविधा है। यहां दो लिफ्ट लगाई गई हैं और हॉस्टल ब्लॉक का कुल कवर्ड एरिया 97135 स्क्वायर फीट है। इसके पहले फ्लोर पर 20 कमरे, रिक्रिएशनल हॉल, टेबल टेनिस और बिलियर्ड्स रूम और रीडिंग रूम बनाए गए हैं। और बाकी सभी फ्लोर पर हर फ्लोर पर 20-20 कमरे बनाए गए हैं।

This was revealed by the Vice Chancellor of the Sports University, Dr. Pushpinder Singh Gill. He said that the construction of the academic block and boys and girls hostels at a cost of Rs. 53 crores in a record time has ushered in a new era in sports excellence and academics, which the Sports University will give a new shape to. The Vice Chancellor said that due to the efforts of Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, during the dedication of the development works of Patiala Rural Constituency, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann not only congratulated the university administrators but also encouraged our students, which has increased the pride of our university. Dr. Gill said that a large number of students, including the academic staff of the university, participated in this ceremony and witnessed this historic moment. He said that this sports university, as announced by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has opened its doors for sports science, sports culture and scholarship along with producing sports champion athletes and sports graduates. Dr. Pushpinder Singh Gill further said that the ground floor of the academic block prepared by the Public Works Department at this Punjab Sports University spread over 92 acres has a rehab center, physiotherapy room, gym, hot and cold therapy facility. Lecture theater, classroom, nutrition psychology lab, physiotherapy lab have been built on the first floor. Anthropometry lab, psychology lab and classroom have been built on the second floor. Classroom, anatomy lab, girls’ common room on the third floor. Classrooms, library, professors’ room have been built on the fourth floor and computer room on the fifth floor. Two lifts have been installed in this block. The total covered area of the academic block is 94523 square feet. The Vice Chancellor further informed that 4 floors each of the boys’ and girls’ hostels have been built and 20 rooms each have been built. Thus, 300 students will be provided accommodation with modern facilities in this 100-room hostel. Two lifts have been installed here. Each room has been prepared for the accommodation of three students and there is a dining hall and kitchen facility.
