Congress won 8 seats in Rajpura. Ravinder Singh Pilakhani, who had contested the Zila Parishad elections from BJP, left BJP and joined the Congress party under the leadership of Sardar Hardial Singh Kamboj.
ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ,18 ਦਸੰਬਰ (ਐਚ.ਐਚ.ਸੇਤੀਆ):ਹਲਕਾ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਹਰਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਹਲਕਾ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਾਕ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਸਦਕਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ 14 ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 8 ਬਲਾਕ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਜ਼ੋਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਦਬਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਧੱਕੇਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਨੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ 11 ਸੀਟਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਹੇਠ ਉਕਸੀ, ਚੰਦੂਮਾਜਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਗੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ 3 ਸੀਟਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਦੀ ਸੀਟ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੇਰਾਫੇਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜੇਤੂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਤਾਨਾਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਲੜੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੰਡਾਗਰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਦਮਾਸ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾਜਨਕ ਰਹੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦਖਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨਾ। ਕੰਬੋਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਭਰਮ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦਬਾਅ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਰਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ—ਨਾ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਕਾਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਣ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 8-10 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਹੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ 2027 ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਤਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਭਾਜਪਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਸਵਾਲ ‘ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਨ, ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ (ਐਮ.ਸੀ) ਚੋਣਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਵਾਰਡਬੰਦੀ ਗਲਤ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ‘ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਜ਼ਾਹਿਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਚੋਣ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ 2027 ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦੀ ਇਬਾਰਤ ਕੰਧ ‘ਤੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
Rajpura, December 18 (H.H.Setia): Former MLA of Rajpura constituency Hardial Singh Kamboj held a special press conference today regarding the party’s excellent performance in the Zilla Parishad and Block Samiti elections held in Rajpura constituency. Talking to reporters on this occasion, he thanked the people of the constituency and said that due to the overwhelming support of the public, the party has won in 8 out of 14 Block Samiti zones. Alleging administrative pressure and bullying, Kamboj made serious allegations and said that the Congress party was leading in 11 seats, but the administration, under pressure from the ruling party, forcibly defeated him in 3 seats of Uksi, Chandumajra and Rangian. He said that his candidate was also ahead in the Zilla Parishad seat, but the way in which the manipulation was done in the end is in front of everyone. He said that he also considers his defeated candidates as winners because they fought bravely against the tyranny of the current government. He alleged that the current MLA committed hooliganism and mischief in the elections, in which the role of the police was very disappointing. He said that the job of the police is to maintain law and order, not to interfere politically. Kamboj said that the ruling party has lost the illusion that they can win through pressure. Hardyal Singh Kamboj said that even today, development works are going on in Rajpura with the funds released during his time. He said that the current government has not fulfilled any promise – neither gave a thousand rupees to women nor houses to the poor. He claimed that only 8-10 months are left for this government and in 2027 the people will throw it out of power. When asked about the BJP, he said that the votes received in the villages were personal to the candidates, not the party. Meanwhile, BJP’s Zila Parishad candidate Ravinder Singh announced to join Congress along with his colleagues. Regarding the upcoming Municipal Council (MC) elections, he said that even though warding is being done in a wrong way, the victory will still be of Congress. Expressing happiness over the victory of former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Kamboj said that he is still struggling for the interests of the people. He finally said that these election results have written the message of victory in 2027 on the wall.
