Patel College excels in Inter-University Youth Fair
ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ,07 ਦਸੰਬਰ (ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਹੈਰੀ): ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪਟੇਲ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਭਾਗ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਵਰਸ਼ਾ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖ਼ੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਅੰਤਰ-ਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਯੁਵਕ ਮੇਲਾ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਯੁਵਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁੱਲ 21 ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਡੌਣੇ ਆਈਟਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪਟੇਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਮਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇਵਕੀ ਨੰਦਨ, ਉਪ-ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੂਆ, ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਮਨਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਵਿੱਤ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਰਿਤੇਸ਼ ਬਾਂਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵਿਜੇ ਆਰਿਆ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਉਪਲੱਬਧੀ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਵਰਸ਼ਾ ਵਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਚ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਡਾ.ਚੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਉਪਲੱਬਧੀ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਚੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯੁਵਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਲਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਫੁੱਲਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਮੁੱਲਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਡਾ.ਜੈਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਡਾ.ਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਬਰਸਰ ਡਾ.ਵੰਦਨਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਕੋ-ਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਡਾ.ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਾ.ਤਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੁਪਰਡੈਂਟ ਵਿਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
Rajpura, December 7 (Himanshu Harry): Varsha Verma, a B.A. Part I student of the local Patel Memorial National College, represented Punjabi University Patiala in the Punjab State Inter-University Youth Fair 2025 organized by Guru Nanak Dev University Sri Amritsar Sahib and made Patel College shine in the whole of Punjab by securing second place in the clay toy item out of a total of 21 universities of Punjab participating in the youth fair. On this occasion, College Management President Devki Nandan, Vice-President Harpreet Singh Dua, General Secretary Amanjot Singh, Finance Secretary Ritesh Bansal and Secretary Vijay Arya Ji honored student Varsha Verma and coach Simranjit Singh for this achievement. On this occasion, the Management Committee also congratulated Dr. Chandra Prakash and the college staff for this achievement. On this occasion, Dr. Chandra Prakash said that these youth fairs make an invaluable contribution in promoting Punjabi culture and folk arts. On this occasion, Head of the Commerce Department Lieutenant Dr. Jaideep Singh, Registrar Dr. Sher Singh, Bursar Dr. Vandana Gupta, Coordinators Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Dr. Taranjit Singh, Superintendents Vijay and Mandeep Sidhu were present.
