Rajpura, January 01 2026 (Himanshu Harry): Taksali Akali leader Gurbachan Singh Saidkheri has been appointed as the Senior Vice President of District Patiala by the party high command of Shiromani Akali Dal (Ba) . This appointment has been possible due to the special efforts of Sarabjit Singh Jhinjar, in-charge of Ghanoor constituency. The news of the appointment has created a wave of joy among the party workers and associates. On this occasion, Sarabjit Singh Jhinjar said that the Shiromani Akali Dal has always valued hardworking and loyal workers. He said that the family of Jathedar Gurbachan Singh Saidkheri has been continuously associated with the Akali Dal for the last four generations and their service to the party has been praiseworthy. After assuming the new responsibility, Gurbachan Singh Saidkheri thanked the party high command and said that he will fulfill the trust the party has reposed in him with full dedication, honesty and devotion.
